Casualties siege & relief of Ladysmith

I have a separate database that contains ALL known British servicemen and women that died during the South African War. This is not currently available on this website but can be accessed but sending me the details of the relative you are interested in finding to: kaigs@telkomsa.net

Deaths from disease on the Boer side were minimal, in comparison to the British, no doubt due to their access to fresh uncontaminated water.

**

Boer casualties for the battle of Platrand (Wagon Hill portion) have been translated from an account of the battle by Johannes Hendrik Labuschagne.

**

For the foreseeable future my database can only be accessed by emailing me with details of the person with as much imformation that you have.
